Autodesk enhances Flame and Maya – Arnold now available from CDN$745
“It’s been a really great year for Flame,” Colin Cupp, industry marketing, film & TV at Autodesk, told the assembled crowd during the company’s Sunday night press conference before NAB at Joe’s Seafood in Caesars Palace. “We’ve had a lot of subscription growth, opened up the platform and even lowered the price.”
Speaking of price, Annex Pro can provide you with a custom configured Linux workstation by Lenovo (the P-Series is now Certified), Apple (Mac Pro) and other fine Tier 1 brands – which you pay for over time (12, 24 or 36 months ) at a very reasonable monthly payment. With Flame now available for only CDN$455 per month (12 month contract), everyone can afford to at least kick the tires on this high end set of tools.
Interested but new to Flame? Check out Autodesk Flame Compositing 101 – a 4.5 hour, 28 part FREE video series which will get you on your way to becoming a Flame artist.
The latest Autodesk VFX showreel will knock your SOX off (featuring Annex Pro customers Image Engine, Framestore, Cinesite and many others):
