Autodesk Game Tour:  May 15

By now, everyone is aware that Maya and 3ds Max are the software tools of choice for game development.  But it's artists and technicians who really push the boundaries of creativity and efficiency that get the most out of these tools

This event promises to show you specifics of how leading game development facility High Moon Studios used Autodesk 3D solutions to bring Robert Ludlum's The Bourne Conspiracy to life.

Randy Stebbing, Technical Art Director at High Moon Studios will talk about why his team chose Autodesk 3D solutions, where they were used and how you can implement them into your game engine to increase efficiency, productivity and interoperability.

Topics and demonstrations will include:

  • How HumanIK middleware technology seamlessly integrates creative assets into the runtime game engine, and solves complex character problems
  • Utilizing the platform-independent FBX file format to integrate content written in different formats
  • Creating and animating assets in 3ds Max, Maya, MotionBuilder and Mudbox
  • Optimizing your creative pipeline so artists can spend more time creating the games gamers love to play
  • Admission is free, but space is limited, register now
